Julia Rampen asks Henderson's Bill McQuaker for his views on Scottish independence, London property, and emerging market debt.

Bill McQuaker (pictured) is responsible for taking advantage of trends in every corner of the world. After roles at NatWest and Credit Suisse, he joined Henderson Global Investors in 2005 as the head of the multi-manager team, which then comprised four staff and ran £500m of assets. In 2007, he helped launch the firm's diversified growth range, becoming deputy head of equities in 2011. By 2014, he had grown assets to £6bn and tripled the size of the investment team.
