The IMA Sterling Strategic Bond sector has become increasingly popular in recent years, with its flexibility hugely attractive in a low yield environment.
A small number of funds have been taking the bulk of assets, none more so than the M&G Optimal Income portfolio, which is now more than £22bn in size. While Richard Woolnough's fund is a very good choice and we rate it highly, there is much more to the sector than Optimal Income.
