FE Alpha Manager Mark Slater has had a great deal of success running the MFM Slater Growth fund in recent years, with the portfolio ranked number one in the highly competitive IMA UK All Companies sector over one and five year periods, and top quartile over three.

A favourite with the FE Research team and part of the FE Select 100, we are now watching one of his newer funds with a great deal of interest. The MFM Slater Income fund recently celebrated its three-year anniversary, having been launched in September 2011. Starting with assets of just £10m, it has grown to over £50m and, with a three-year track record intact, it is now likely to be on more fund buyers' radars.
