Donald Trump's election might have been a big surprise to markets but the new administration has so far had a surprisingly positive effect on US equities.
Over the past few months US stocks have rallied, driven by the President's ambitions to push through an economic agenda that aims to inject fiscal stimulus into the economy, loosen regulation in several industries and fuel economic growth. Trump's policy agenda could create winners in certain parts of the market.
