The drivers of Russia's economic recovery

While the recent unpredictable geopolitical news flow has created challenges within Russia, it has served to mask a wealth of investment potential.

With a supportive oil price environment, and an attractively valued rouble, the Russian economy's recovery should benefit from rising consumption and the return of foreign investment. Notably, the economy is in the nascent stages of recovery, in contrast to the late-cycle recovery of the global economy.  One sector poised to outperform is the country's innovative tech sector.
