Despite being considered expensive by some investors, the US equity market remains, for seasoned stockpickers, one of the most interesting places in the world to invest.

The quality of management is generally high: managements are more team-oriented and less hierarchical than in many other countries, which is important for completing projects and acquisitions successfully as well as for engendering greater corporate dynamism.  Many companies, particularly in the technology sector, will also have strong financial positions as well as top global market positions.
