Approximately one in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year, while one in six people in England alone will experience a common issue such as anxiety or depression in any given week.
Yet arguably the issue of mental health is not one that is raised often - or often enough - within the financial services industry. Mental health covers a huge variety of different types of psychological and emotional matters and there is a drive today for employers to embrace and understand mental wellbeing better in order to serve their employees better.
