Much has been written about the uncertainties hanging over UK equities, with some investors even labelling the UK as 'uninvestable'.
On an aggregate level, the UK's total return has been underwhelming, particularly relative to the US. Investor confidence in UK stockmarket plummets to 23-year low For the 12 months to 28 September, the FTSE All-Share is up 2.1%, but the S&P 500 returned 15.7%.
