Barclays raises over £22k following '50 shades of blue diligence' for CASCAID

As part of their efforts to raise money for CASCAID, the industry-wide initiative to raise over £1m for Great Ormond Street Hospital, a team from Barclays took it upon themselves to visit 50 fund management firms in just one day.

Armed with only a packed lunch and a tube ticket each, the team ran around London on 14 November, starting at 7am, visiting asset managers as part of their due diligence (to prove that the firm does indeed undertake operations at that office).  Video: Keeping up with CASCAID - the abseil challenge The unusual challenge, called '50 shades of blue diligence', saw the team take a book for each firm to sign and provide the business card of a senior employee, to confirm each visit.
