Schroders manager Nathan Gibbs is bullish on Japan, believing many of its ‘problems' have been misconstrued by the investment industry
As manager of the high-conviction Schroder Japan Alpha Plus fund, Nathan Gibbs has delivered strong returns over the past 12 months by targeting small and medium-sized stocks. Japan has been clearly out of favor for investors for some time, but Gibbs says the outlook is improving and valuations are at attractive levels. He also believes many of Japan’s problems, either perceived or real, have been poorly understood by the investment industry.
