Since launching into the UK retail market in 2008, Standard Life Investments’ Global Absolute Return Strategies (GARS) portfolio has been one of the most highly followed and sought after funds in the industry. In just three years the fund has amassed an asset base of £10bn, and returns have not disappointed. GARS has delivered 35% over the three years to 10 February, well ahead of the IMA Absolute Return sector average of 15%, according to Morningstar.
