Philip Pearson and Anthony Burton are co-managers of the GLG Technology Equity fund, one of the most successful technology funds of the past three years.
Brought in to run the £130m fund in May 2009 following the takeover of SGAM UK’s business by Man and the departure of former manager Hugh Grieves, Pearson and Burton were no strangers to the sector. They already ran £200m at GLG through a number of mandates, including the group’s long-standing Technology vehicle.
