Liontrust’s purchase of Walker Crips Asset Managers for £12.3m created a big industry buzz earlier this year. The arrival of Stephen Bailey and Jan Luthman, both well respected by wealth managers, was another key step in Liontrust’s journey from basket-case to regaining its previous position as a stalwart on adviser buy-lists.
