As Ardevora Asset Management moves from start-up phase to a new era with a solid track record, William Pattisson tells Ruth Gillbe how behavioural finance influences his investment style; what the regulatory environment is like for small businesses, and how the boutique plans to grow its AUM.

At the start of this year, boutique Ardevora Asset Management celebrated a trio of funds’ three-year anniversaries, a milestone which should see them appear more widely on fund selectors’ radars. The Ardevora UK Income fund reached its three-year anniversary in January, while the Ardevora UK Equity and Global Equity funds will be three years old in February. Fund manager William Pattisson is one of four partners in the firm – Jeremy Lang, Ben Fitchew, and Gianluca Monaco comprise the rest of the management team.
