Smith & Williamson's head of funds business Ed Rosengarten talks to editor Katrina Lloyd about the challenges for UK asset managers, the Brexit impact, and why offering access to fund managers and an interactive approach is key for the group.
Rosengarten joined Smith & Williamson in May 2014 as head of funds business for Smith & Williamson Investment Management LLP's pooled funds. His career includes 18 years at M&G, the last nine years of which were spent as chief executive - equities and as a board director. In 2011 he founded Eden Asset Management and was responsible for its successful transfer and integration with City Financial, where he was head of UK asset management until September 2013. He graduated from the University of London with a Masters Degree in Economics.
