Liontrust's Economic Advantage team leaders Anthony Cross and Julian Fosh had no long-held desires to enter a career in fund management.  Cross decided he wanted a career in the City but specifically in corporate finance. After an unsuccessful interview, the interviewer "kindly" told him to think about fund management and following a much more successful interview at Schroders, his career began. "Whoever that chap was that interviewed me, I owe him a career in fund management," said Cross. For Fosh, his ambition was to become a lawyer but after completing two thirds of a law degree...
