Nolan Hoffmeyer joined Pictet Asset Management straight out of university, having already chosen his career path when he decided to study financial engineering, but he developed his passion for thematic investing on the job. He started at the prominent Swiss asset manager in 2012 as an intern, having just completed his Masters degree, and was subsequently moved to the thematic equities team to work on various projects.
