Robotics have already revolutionised our manufacturing processes and they are now about to change our lifestyles as well, according to Johan Van der Biest, senior fund manager at Candriam Investors Group.
In March this year Candriam launched a new Robotics and Innovative Technology strategy. The strategy is the latest addition to Candriam's thematic strategies which already include specialist funds in demography and biotechnology. Van der Biest said: "Unprecedented technological progress will provide robots with increasing autonomy enabling them to learn, to think and to recognise information.
