Dan Kemp, chief investment officer, EMEA at Morningstar Investment Management Europe, said concerns about unattractive valuations across global asset classes and a wide range of possible return outcomes are key drivers shaping the team's current investment approach.
He said the 100-strong investment committee has been moving into less-favoured areas of the market across its range of portfolios to find returns, while bolstering more defensive assets in case of a market pull-back.
