Rathbones CIO Julian Chillingworth has said the potential for yield curve inversion and discussions around China's future growth path are key issues shaping his team's investment approach in 2018.
He said Rathbones' investment team is confident equities will outperform bonds this year, and its allocations will preference developed over emerging markets, but they will be tracking bond yield curves closely as they tend to be a good indicator of when investors may begin to exit markets.
