For both the CFA Institute and CFA UK, the question of the ethics and professionalism of their membership has always been a focus, and is therefore reflected in the requirements to obtain the CFA itself.
But "the increasing relevance of globalisation" over recent years has forced the professional bodies to sharpen this focus, explained Gary Baker, managing director of the CFA Institute, speaking to Investment Week at the CFA Professionalism Conference 2018.
