Kames Capital appoints ex-Cofunds boss Davis as CEO

Kames Capital has appointed Martin Davis, former chief executive of Cofunds, as CEO of the business.

The appointment follows the departure of former chief executive Andrew Fleming earlier this year. Davis (pictured) will start his new role on 1 October, replacing Sarah Russell, who has been CEO in the interim. Earlier this year, Kames separated the roles of CEO and CIO, appointing Stephen Jones as chief investment officer. Kames said Davis' appointment completes the changes to its senior team announced earlier this year.
