Walker Crips has poached two more stockbrokers from Barclays as it expands its investment team.
The group has hired Bill Newton and Andrew Powell, who have both worked at Barclays for a number of years. Newton joins from Barclays Advisory Stockbroking and has worked with private clients for the past 10 years. Meanwhile Powell has spent the last four years as a Barclays stockbroker focused on both UK and US short term equity trade ideas. The duo are the latest pair to switch Barclays for Walker Crips after the recent appointment of Steven Moss and Mark Entwistle.
