Alliance Trust's head of equities, Peter Michaelis, said an increased focus on sustainability has driven a number of significant changes to the group's £2.5bn flagship global trust over recent months.
Michaelis (pictured) took over the role of head of equities at Alliance Trust last autumn, after a reorganisation of the investment team. He had previously been running the group's sustainable funds and brought this expertise to the trust. Michaelis said: "An increased emphasis on sustainability and predictability has driven changes.
