Charlie Eppinger is to take on the role of chairman of Cofunds as Alan Ainsworth steps down. Eppinger will combine the role of chairman with his current position as chief executive until a new CEO is recruited. Ainsworth, who semi-retired from Threadneedle in 2006, is leaving to focus on personal projects.
