Investment planning is the most valuable thing IFAs do for their clients, according to Cofunds research. A recent survey of just under 500 advisers revealed investment advice as the primary service they offer their clients, with 60% saying this is the most valuable thing they provide. Retirement advice was the second most valuable, with 25% citing this as the most valuable thing IFAs do, followed by 8% which offered ‘other’ services. Tax planning was deemed most valuable by 8% and administration of overall financial affairs was said to be the most valuable service by 2%. Cofunds also...
