BlackRock is launching a multi-asset absolute return fund investing in the full range of global asset classes. The group said Global Tactical Asset Allocation (GTAA) will initially target more sophisticated investors and will sit in its BlackRock Strategic Funds (BSF) umbrella in Luxembourg. It will be run by the Multi-Asset Portfolio Strategies (MAPS) team consisting of 50 analysts, and the group will name two lead managers at a later date.
