BlackRock has expanded its regional sales team with the appointment of Mark Hemsley as vice president of relationship management. He will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with discretionary fund managers, IFAs and stockbrokers in the Midlands. He will report to Dorian Hughes, head of regional sales. Previously Hemsley spent seven years at BoNY Mellon Asset Management, and has also worked for Zurich IFA and Norwich Union.
