Axa Framlington has poached Jeremy Gleeson from Close Investment to run its Global Technology vehicle. Gleeson will join the firm on 25 June, and will overlap with current manager Nicholas Evans who leaves at the end of July. At the end of May, the technology fund held £62.4m in assets. Rob Bailey, head of UK retail sales at Axa Framlington, said the mandate of the fund would not change under Gleeson. “We are very happy with the multi-cap style, and it will remain as a bottom-up stockpicking fund,” he said.
