Franklin Templeton has now launched its two new fixed income funds, as first revealed by Investment Week in January. The Global Total Return Bond aims for a long-term total return from income, capital appreciation and currency gains, by investing in fixed and floating rate debt securities of government and corporate issuers worldwide. It will have a diversified portfolio across a range of fixed income markets and asset classes. The Strategic Bond fund aims to deliver a regular income and a net yield of 5%.
