Swiss wealth manager Julius Baer is to open a London office focused on promoting and selling investment products to the UK market. The London-based investment products distribution team will sell on a wholesale basis to wealth managers, insurance companies, investment banks and fund of funds, having recently gained distributor status from the FSA. Three core investment themes will form the basis of the strategy. These are Newo (New World Economic Order), real assets and capital preservation and growth niches with pricing power. Julius Baer currently has £39bn under management.
