Old Mutual Asset Managers has appointed Mark Allpress as head of UK retail sales. Allpress will report to group MD for distribution Matthew Nagele when he starts at the end of September. He joins from BNY Mellon where he ran wholesale business development for the UK retail IFA team, the strategic relationship team and discretionary team. In May it was announced his position at BNY had been made redundant, following the appointment of Paul Feeney as head of distribution in April.
