Julius Baer has added Africa and natural resources portfolios to its fund range as it gears up to enter the UK market next year. The Northern Africa fund, which soft launched on 27 September, is co-managed by Alexander Shalash and Vincent Lagger. It is currently has 30% in Morocco, 10% in Tunisia and 25% each in Egypt and Nigeria and 10% elsewhere. Julius Baer said the fund will participate in the high economic growth of this region by investing in companies with strong economic growth.
