BlackRock’s Mark Lyttleton has described investing amid the inverse performance of financials and commodity companies as extremely challenging. His UK Absolute Alpha fund is now reporting a negative result of -0.7% over three months, according to Morningstar. In response, he has significantly increased the absolute fund’s cash position in the last two months. “Exposure to all sectors has been pared down,” he said.
