Axa Framlington has handed its £94m Managed Growth fund to strategist Mark Tinker, who will introduce a top-down thematic approach to the portfolio. The vehicle has been through a succession of managers, with Tinker the sixth change at the helm in five years. The group admits it has been treated a collection of best ideas from regional desks rather than a genuine global product.
