HFM Columbus has acquired Southampton-based IFA Orchard Lane in a bid to strengthen its position in high-end financial planning and corporate advice. The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, will see all directors and clients of Orchard Lane move to HFM Columbus and the former brand disappear. Directors Richard Mifsud and Jillian Fenner transfer their businesses and both will become regional directors with the HFM Columbus group. Further senior appointments are being planned across the firm’s existing offices in Weybridge, Tunbridge Wells and London’s Covent Garden.
