BlackRock has increased its market share on Cofunds to 18.98% in the first three months of the year, largely due to its UK Absolute Alpha fund. For the whole of 2007, the group only took 2% of net sales on the platform. The group’s main money takers have been Mark Lyttleton’s UK Absolute Alpha fund, which launched as a retail product in September 2007, and the Gold & General vehicle. BlackRock is now the second most popular fund house on Cofunds.
