Unicorn is looking to raise €9m in a VCT top-up scheme. From mid-February investors will be able to access the three series of its Aim VCT 1 funds through additional share offerings. Unicorn also wants to raise an additional 10% for its c-share issue of the Aim VCT II. Chris Hutchinson, lead manager on the VCTs and Peter Webb, chief executive of Unicorn believes that after a rocky few years, the current market conditions provide a favourable time to be buying into the Aim market.
