Skandia has picked Rowanmoor Pensions to take over its Ssas book of business with effect from 30 September. It is anticipated that most of Skandia’s Ssas, with a total asset value of £13.7m, will transfer to Rowanmoor. Ssas is not a core area of business for Skandia and the group has withdrawn from the market to focus on its core personal pension and Sipp offerings. Rowanmoor will establish a new Ssas for each of the transferring schemes and will not charge a set-up fee. It is also providing a Ssas transfer option to Skandia’s 14,000 EPP clients.
