L&G Investment Management has hired Bill Hughes to replace Mark Creedy who is stepping down as managing director of the £12bn property business. Creedy announced he wished to bow out of the position earlier this year but would remain in the post until the end of 2007. Hughes will join L&G from November but will not take over full responsibilities until the handover on 1 January 2008. He leaves his post as head of UK real estate at Deutsche Bank which he took in 2003 and has also worked as chief operating officer and deputy managing director for Schroder Property Investment Management. ...
