Credit Suisse has appointed Gary Withers as vice chairman and head of asset management for EMEA. Withers will be a member of the Asset Management committee and Credit Suisse’s EMEA CEO management committee and takes over the role from Mark Burgess, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Withers was previously chief executive of Norwich Union Life.
