Pier-Alberto Furno, one of Europe's pre-eminent long only fund managers, has launched Ambix Capital, a new London and Monaco based investment firm. Furno, previously the minority investor in an asset management venture with Lehman Brothers, has bought out the shares from the defunct investment bank to launch the venture. Ambix, formally known as Furno and Del Castanõ Capital Partners, has approximately $300m in client assets under management.
