RLAM has recruited Derek Mitchell to manage the Royal London UK Special Situations Trust. The new fund comes to the market on 20 July and will invest in a concentrated portfolio of UK companies in special situations with the potential to achieve above average returns. Minimum investment is £1,000, initial charge is 4% and AMC is 1.4%. Mitchell joins RLAM from Rutherglen Capital, where he managed a long/short global media fund.
