New Star strengthens alternative team

Donald Pepper will join New Star as head of alternative investment in September.

Pepper, who joins from Merrill Lynch International, will head up a dedicated hedge fund team of ten, oversee the company’s range of seven single and multi-manager funds and seek to develop new business. In his previous role as head of prime brokerage, Pepper was responsible for sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
