Richard Philbin’s role at Axa will involve working with third-party providers to help develop and manage their open architecture propositions. The former head of multi-manager at F&C joins the start-up firm, headed by Axa Wealth Management's chief executive Mike Kellard, later this year. The group said Philbin will oversee establish the company’s investment proposition and be responsible for exploring opportunities for new ventures and products.
