Andrew MacKirdy, manager of the Franklin Templeton Europe fund, has resigned from the company. He is currently on gardening leave, and will end his contract on 11 March to pursue another opportunity in the industry. MacKirdy managed the Templeton Global fund Sicav as well as the Templeton Europe Oeic from his Edinburgh base. The Europe fund will now be run by Uwe Zoellner from Frankfurt, and the Global fund by Martin Cobb from Edinburgh.
