Aegon’s Otto Thoresen has outlined early thinking on his review of generic advice, suggesting neither word will be used in branding for the service. Speaking last week, he said people struggle to understand what is meant by generic and advice is too closely associated with the FSA-regulated regime. Words such as guidance, education and coaching have all been suggested and Thoresen is seeking further feedback.
