Threadneedle is distributing its funds into the Asian market following the opening of an office in Hong Kong. The group said although it has invested in Asia for many years, it has recently seen demand from investors based in the region. James Campion has been hired as head of Asia distribution and will be responsible for developing recognition of the product range. He has 28 years industry experience including stints at Allianz Global Investors, New Star and Schroders and will be based in the Hong Kong office.
