BlackRock has promoted Mark Elliott and Dorian Hughes within its UK retail team. Elliott, previously responsible for the regional sales team will head up strategic alliances providing asset management services to companies, retail banks, building societies and other financial clients. He joined the group in 2004. Hughes is to lead the regional sales team outside London which primarily deals with intermediaries. She joined BlackRock in 1986 and has been on the UK team for the past three years.
