Sonja Uys has joined Insight Investment has as product specialist for absolute return strategies. Her role will involve boosting Insight’s activities and presence in the absolute return sector through its established product range. She will report to the group’s head of alternatives, Reza Vishkai. Uys joins from JPMorgan where she marketed derivatives across a range of asset classes to institutional investors. She began her career at Lloyds TSB in pensions review then moved to Jardine Lloyd Thompson to work in actuarial consulting.
